5 Eid Jamaats to be held at Baitul Mukarram mosque

A total of five Eid congregations (Jamaat) will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital in phases on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals of Muslims, like every year.

The first congregation will be held at Baitul Mukarram at 7 am led by Mufti Mizanur Rahman while the second congregation will be held at 8 am and Imam Mufti Muhibbullahil Baki Nadvi will lead it.

The third congregation (Jamaat) will be held at 9 am under the leadership of Maulana Abu Saleh Patwary.

Maulana Ehsanul Haque and Maulana Mohiuddin Qasim will lead the fourth and fifth Eid jamaats at 10 am and 10:45 am respectively.

If any Imam is absent in 5 Jamaats, Maulana Mohammad Abdullah will act as the alternate Imam.

Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, if the moon of Shawwal month is seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Sunday.

And if the moon is not seen tomorrow, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Tuesday in the country.
