Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) on Tuesday launched 'Eid Special Service' in a bid to ensure a comfortable journey for the homebound people on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
The organization's depots concerned started selling advance tickets from today, and the special service will continue until May 6.
According to the operations division of BRTC, advance tickets are being sold from Dhaka's Motijheel, Joar Shahara, Kalyanpur, Gabtali, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, and Jatrabari; Gazipur and Narayanganj depots.
Asked Motijheel depot manager Md Masud Talukder about this, he told Jago News that around 50 buses were ready to transport long-haul passengers during the Eid journey.
