More than 200 students have been injured during the clashes between Dhaka College students and New Market traders in New Market area in the capital of Dhaka.
Dhaka College Teachers' Council Secretary Dr Md Abdul Kuddus Shikder made the disclosure on Tuesday evening.
The injured students were given primary treatment at Dhaka College Teachers' lounge and of them, seriously wounded 50 sent to hospital.
Earlier on Monday midnight, Dhaka College students and New Market traders-workers clashed and chased-counter-chased in New Market area.
Later, the situation was brought to control but a clash erupted again this morning.
