Three people were killed as a tractor plunged into a ditch in Muradnagar upazila of Cumilla district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were Tutul, 22, son of Babul Mia, the tractor's driver Bablu Mia, 22, son of Shah Alam, and Md Hasan, 23, son of Shahidul Islam, residents of Bakharnagar Ballavbaria area in the upazila.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, Muradnagar Police Station officer in-charge Abul Hasim said the tractor fell into a roadside ditch in Mochagara Doripara area around 6 am, leaving its driver and his two assistants dead on the spot.
