Three Bangladeshi students were killed in a road accident in Qatar on Saturday night (local time).
The deceased were identified as Ahmed Safwan, 21, son of Iqbal Ahmed, of Sylhet, Isran Bin Islam, 22, son of Nurul Islam, of Chattogram and Azharul Haque Joy, 21, son of Fazlul Haque, of Feni.
Bodies of them were kept at Doha Hamad Hospital morgue.
According to the source, four students went for roaming and their car’s tyre was punctured. When the three were repairing it, another car hit their vehicle from behind -- leaving one of them dead on the spot. Two other seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The students lived with their families in Qatar. One of them passed Higher Secondary from Bangladesh School and College in 2020 and the rest from different institutions in India.
