Rain with temporary gusty wind likely at few places

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions, said the weather forecast issued for 24 hours this morning, reports BSS. 

The Deep Depression over East-central Bay and adjoining North Andaman Sea moved to north eastwards, crossed Myanmar coast (near Pathein), weakened into a Depression afterwards and lay centred at 06 am today over coastal Myanmar and adjoining area, it said.

The depression is likely to move in a North/North easterly direction further and weaken gradually.

Trough of Westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, the met bulletin added.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the division of Sylhet and the districts of Rangamati and Rajshahi and it may continue.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

The day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 36.9 degrees Celsius at Sylhet and minimum temperature today was 19.5 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets at 6.11 pm and rises at 5:59 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
