Former President and Chief Justice of Bangladesh Shahabuddin Ahmed was buried beside his wife’s grave at Banani graveyard at 11:50am on Sunday.
His second namaz-e-janana was held at Supreme Court premises at 10:30am.
Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam, former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, Shahabuddin’s family members and relatives were present during this time.
Earlier, his first janaza was held at Pemoi village of Kendua upazila in Netrokona at 2pm on Saturday.
He was given a guard of honor before the janaza prayer.
Shahabuddin passed away at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka at the age of 92 on Saturday morning.
Family sources said Sahabuddin had been suffering from old age complications for a long time.
In February, he got admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the CMH as his physical condition deteriorated.
