Ten more people died from coronavirus and 1,516 newly contracted the virus in the past 24 hours.
With this, the total fatalities and infections rose to 29,005 and 19,39,651 respectively, a health directorate press release on Thursday.
As many as 27,434 samples were tested in the past day, bringing the total tests to 1,33,11,219.
During the period, 6,459 more patients recovered from the illness, taking the total number of recoveries to 17,86,146.
Bangladesh, however, first reported its coronavirus cases on March 8, 2020.
The virus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and then it spread to other countries.
To date, the epidemic infected 430,484,334 people and killed 5,938,757 across the globe, according to Worldometer, a website that compiles the number of new coronavirus cases and deaths from it.
However, the total number of people who recovered from the virus reached 359,161,323 across the world.
