Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more fatalities in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.
RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Pabna and he died with Covid-19 infections, while another from Natore died with its symptoms, reports BSS.
Meanwhile, three more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 43, including 17 positive for Covid-19, at present.
However, none was returned home after being cured during the same time.
On the other hand, 18 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 188 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Friday, showing a 5.13 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 15.79 percent in Natore and 11.09 percent in Joypurhat districts.
