The government has decided to reopen primary schools from March 1. In-person classes will be started from the day.
Mahbubur Rahman, Public Relations Officer of Primary and Mass Education Ministry, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said, all primary schools will be reopened from March 1. The decision has been taken at a meeting with National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19.
On Thursday, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni announced that all educational institutions, except primary schools, would be able to resume physical classes for fully vaccinated students from February 22.
On January 21, the government announced the closure of all schools and colleges till February 6 amid a surge in Coronavirus cases.
