A total of 95.26% students passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations across the country.
The pass rate in nine general education boards is 93.58 per cent, madrasa board 95.49 per cent and technical board 92.85 per cent.
Besides, 1,89,169 students got GPA-5.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the results on Sunday through a video conference.
Earlier in the day, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni received the summery of the results from the chairmen of all education boards on behalf of the premier at International Mother Language Institute in the capital.
Students can get the results from colleges, the education board website http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, and also from the websites of respective education boards.
About 14 lakh students appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations-2021. Of them, 7.30 lakh are boys and 6.70 lakh are girls.
The examinations began on December 2, 2021 and ended December 30. The examinations were held with very short syllabus.
