Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded three more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.
RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased were one each from Rajshahi, Naogaon and Natore districts. Two of them died with Covid-19 infections, while another was suffering from its complexities, reports BSS.
Two of them were male and another female. Two of them were sexagenarians, while another aged between 41 and 50.
Meanwhile, seven more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 58, including 46 positive for Covid-19, at present.
Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
On the other hand, 116 more patients have tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 465 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Wednesday, showing 22.22 percent positivity rate in Rajshahi district, while 29.09 percent in Natore and 31.43 percent in Joypurhat districts.
