That ranking comes thanks to $88 million in earnings between June 2015 and June 2016, combining salary and endorsements. Messi is not far behind at No. 8, at $81.5 million.Overall, singer Taylor Swift tops the list at $170 million, followed by boy band One Direction at $110 million.Other highly ranked athletes include LeBron James (No. 11, $77 million) and Roger Federer (No. 16, $68 million).Kevin Durant and Novak Djokovic are tied at No. 26 at $56 million, sharing the ranking with Justin Bieber and Kenny Chesney.
