Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.
RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi, while another from Kustia. They died with Covid-19 symptoms, reports BSS.
Meanwhile, four more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 28, including seven tested positive for Covid-19, at present.
Two other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
On the other hand, eight more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 187 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Tuesday, showing a 5.34 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 3.03 percent in Joypurhat.
