State Minister Khalid receives booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid today received the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at the inoculation center of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), reports BSS.

"The state minister is now quite well and his physical conditions remain normal after receiving the booster dose ...no side effect was found after the vaccination," an official release said.

He also called upon the aged people and the front-liners to take the booster dose of the vaccine.

To encourage people in receiving the Covid-19 vaccines and prevent rumors over corona vaccination, Khalid received the first dose of the vaccine on January 28 last as the second cabinet member of the government, the release said.

He then took the second dose on April 1, it also said.
