Three people, including a seven-year-old child, were killed and eight others injured as a train hit a bus in Sadar upazila of Narayanganj district on Sunday evening.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sadar Model Police Station officer in-charge Shah Zaman said a train hit hard a bus of 'Ananda Paribahan' at a crossing of Narayanganj Railway Station's No. 1 gate area, leaving two dead on the spot and nine injured.
Among the injured, a child, later, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
