A Narayanganj Court on Tuesday acquitted 31 people from a case filed over Lal Mia, an Awami League activist, murder at Kalapaharia area in Araihazar uapzila of the district in 2010.Narayanganj Additional District and Session Judge Miazi Shohidul alam Chy passed the order after they were produced before court at the final hearing of the case.Beside, victim’s family expressed their agitation over the court verdict by accusing police for their incomplete investigation report.According to prosecution, Lal Mia, son of late Taleb Ali, was hacked to death by rivals on March 23, 2010, following the murder of Jubo Dal leader Salam murder in the upazila in the year.Later, brother of Lal Mia filed a case with Araihazar Police Station. However police submitted charge sheet against 31 people in this case.
