Rubel Aziz has been reelected as President of Banani Club Limited for next year (2021-2022), recently the results announced by the election commission of the social club.
On Saturday last (December 11, 2021), Banani Club members exercised their franchise to elect 1 president and 10-member executive committee.
A total of 545 members of the social club cast votes of which Rubel Aziz bagged 323 against his rival Hasanur Bari who received 211 votes. Rest 11 ballots were declared invalid by the election commission.
A total of 19 members contested for the 10-member executive committee. The elected members are Md. Arfatur Rahman, Makin-ur-Rashid, Md Abdul Gaffar, Mehjabeen Bhuiyan, Azizul Abedin, Mahmodul Islam Parvez, Md Sharif Ullah, Sonia Sehely Binte Quashem, Imtiaz Ahmed and Salma Hossain.
