Three people including a constable of police were killed and two others injured in a collision of a bus, an auto-rickshaw and a DEMU train at Jawtola rail station in Khulsi thana of Chattogram on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as traffic police constable Md Monir Hossen, 40 and Syed Bahauddin Ahmed, 30.
The injured are Abul Hossen, 65 and Jamir Hossen, 48. They were admitted to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Sadekur Rahman, Inspector of Panchlaish Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said, four people injured in the accident were taken to CMCH where the on-duty doctors declared two of them dead. Two other people are also in a critical condition.
