Three people were killed as a bus rammed into a motorcycle in Hajiganj upazila of Chandpur district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Sujan, 30, Monir, 35, and Shohagh, residents of Belashar area in Chandina upazila of Cumilla.
Rahim who accompanied the deceased said they six on two motorcycles were going to Chandpur from Cumilla to roam.
A bus of 'Boogdad Paribahan' hit a motorcycle when they reached Balakhal Dherra area on the Cumilla-Chandpur road around 1 pm, leaving three dead on the spot, he said.
Hajiganj Police Station officer in-charge Md Harunur Rashid said police seized the bus and detained its driver.
