As many as 118 people with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals in and outside the capital in the last 24 hours until Thursday morning.
With this, a total of 480 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different hospitals.
Among them, 368 are receiving treatment in government hospitals while the rest 122 in private ones, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
It said a total of 26,859 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country as of today since January 1 this year.
To date, 98 people died of dengue while 26,281 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
