A case has been filed over the killing of Cumilla City Corporation (CCC) councilor Syed Md Sohel and his aide Haripada Saha.
Sohel’s younger brother Syed Md Rumon filed the case with Cumilla Kotwali Model Police Station around 12:15am on Wednesday.
Komol Krishna Dhar, Officer-in-charge of the police station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said the case was filed against 11 named people including one Shah Alam of 16 number ward of the city and 10 unnamed people.
No one was arrested in this incident yet, the OC added.
On Monday afternoon, the 17 number ward councillor of CCC Sohel and his aide Haripada were gunned down by the masked miscreants at their office at Pathuapara in city. Three other people were also injured in the incident. They are Awlad Hossen Raju, Md Juwel and Md Rasel.
