Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more fatalities in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today, reports BSS.
However, the previous day's fatality figure was one.
RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told journalists the hospital recorded zero deaths for the second time on Sunday last after on October 31.
Among the new deaths, one was the resident of Natore, while another from Pabna district. Both of them were suffering from symptoms of Covid-19.
Meanwhile, eleven more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 40, including six testing positive for Covid-19, at present.
Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
On the other hand, eight more patients tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 301 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Tuesday, showing a 1.83 percent positivity rate against 2.49 percent on Monday.
