Cox’s Bazar unit Sramik League president Jahirul Islam, who was shot by some miscreants, died on Sunday.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital at 12:45pm
Cox’s Bazar unit Sramik League general secretary Shafiullah Ansari confirmed the death to Jago News.
Earlier on Friday night, Jahirul and his brother Kudrot Ullah Shikder were shot by some miscreants at Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf link road area. Later they were admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.
