Members of Police in a drive arrested two members of the banned Islamist militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with zihadi books and hand bomb making materials at Palpara area in Sujanagar upazila of Panba district early hours of Sunday.The arrestees were identified as Md Sanaullah, 35, hailing from Gogonpur village of the upazila and Omar Faruk, 26, a resident of Ullahpara upazila of Sirajganj district.Officer-in charge of Sujanagar Police Station Nur Islam said acting on secret information that JMB men were gathering at one Mirza Abdul Ohab’s house and preparing to commit subversive activities in the area, police conducted a raid at the area around 12.30am and arrested the duo.However, other members of JMB managed to flee from the scene.Police recovered huge amount of zihadi books and hand bombs’ making materials from the house.A case was filed in this connection, said the OC.
