PRAN-RFL generates 33 thousand jobs in Narsingdi

PRAN-RFL Group, the country’s leading conglomerate, has generated 33 thousand jobs at three factories in Narsingdi, of which around 90 percent are local and about 20 thousands female employee are working here.

Besides, the group is playing important role in socio-economic development of Narsingdi through establishing various organizations including school, hospital etc, says a press release.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director (Marketing) at PRAN-RFL Group, said this on Monday at a view exchange meeting with Narsingdi journalists held at the conference room of PRAN Industrail Park (PIP) at Palash, Narsingdi.

Addressing the program he said, “Narsingdi is an emotional place for us as PRAN started its journey here through establishing a factory on small scale. Now, the group has become one of the country’s largest conglomerates and marking its 40 years anniversary. The aim of establishing the factories in Narsingdi is to utilize the huge potential population, smooth communication facility and congenial environment for doing business. We are grateful to the local people for helping us for all situation.”

Kamruzzaman Kamal also said, “PRAN-RFL Group gives highest importance to manufacture quality products, create huge employment and contribute socio-economic development in terms of setting up its factories and operations. There are more than one hundred product line in three factories in Narsingdi. We have a plan to invest in some sectors including electronics, lift manufacturing, flexible packaging and recycling plant and it will create another 2000 jobs for the initiative.”

He also added “we always try to stand beside helpless people of Narsingdi at various calamities and try to help the people during corona. We have established ‘Sun Health Care’ Hospital for all. People are receiving treatment from here. Our plan is to make it 50-bed hospital soon and we are working on it. Our PRAN-RFL Public School are promoting education. So, we do believe, it will encourages us if we get support from all including local media.”

Commander M Shamsul Alam Miah BN (Retd), Executive Director at PIP, said, “We are investing in new business and become successful for getting support of local people and congenial environment.”

Tanul Islam, General Manager at PIP, said, “We always give top priority on environment. We have Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in all factories for liquid wastage.”

Fazle Rabbi, Senior General Manager of Danga Industrial Park, Dipak Kumar Dev, General Manager, PRAN Factory Ghorasal and high officials of PRAN-RFL Group, were also present at the program.
