Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that those who are involved in the Cumilla incident won't be spared whatever their religion is.
"This incident is being investigated. Those who carried out the event won't be spared, and they would be brought to book whatever their religion is," she said.
The premier said this while virtually exchanging greetings with the Hindu community people at Dhakeshwari National Temple in the capital from her official residence Ganabhaban on Thursday afternoon.
PM Hasina also said those who can't achieve people's trust and belief committed the incident.
Earlier on Wednesday, a few Hindu temples were vandalized in Cumilla following an incident of allegedly demeaning the holy Quran in the district.
