Police arrested the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of AB Bank Abdur Rahman in a fraudulence case on Tuesday morning.
Newton Das, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Gulshan zone), confirmed the arrest to Jago News.
He said, he (Rahman) had an arrest warrant issued against him. He was arrested from his residence in the capital’s Gulshan.
“Police will produce him before the court and seek remand for interrogation,” he added.
