The detectives have seized a huge quantity of fake, and foreign drugs from different pharmacies and godowns in Mitford area of Old Dhaka.
Besides, they detained three people - Faisal Ahmed, 32, of Medicine World Pharmacy, Sumon Chandra Mollik, 27, of Loknath Drug, and Md Liton Gazi, 32, of Rafsan Pharmacy- in connection with the fake drugs trading.
A detective team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Lalbagh Division conducted the drive on Saturday, DB joint commissioner (South) Mahbub Alam said at a press conference at DMP headquarters on Sunday.
