Education Minister Dipu Moni today said that there will be no Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations from 2023.
She told this at a press briefing on the National Curriculum Outline at the ministry on Monday afternoon.
“There will be no annual exams up to class 3 at primary education level,” the minister said.
She said her government has also decided to cancel subject-based group division at class 9 and 10.
She also said, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will be held on the curriculum of class 10 only.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) test results may come after assessing and averaging the results of finals exams of Classes 11 and 12, she added.
