Bangladesh received 54,01,350 more doses of Sinopharm vaccine early Saturday.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the consignment landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 1 am.
The airport health official Dr Sazzad Hossain confirmed the matter to the media.
The officials of the Directorate General of Health Services received the jabs at the airport.
With this, a total of 1,99,01,350 doses of the Chinese company arrived in the country.
Earlier, 5 lakh vaccine jabs gifted by the Chinese government reached Dhaka for the first time on May 12.
Later, Bangladesh in phases received bought, and gifted Sinopharm vaccines.
