Three people with 32 gold bars, weighing five kilograms, and 1500 pieces of yaba tablets from Kamalapur railway station in the capital on Saturday. The detainees are Rahul, 28, Noton, 21 and Yusuf, 48.Dhaka railway thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Majid said. the trio arrived at the station this morning by the Turna Nishita Express train coming from Chittagong.Acting on a tip off, police searched them and recovered the gold bars and yaba tablets from their possessions. The estimated market value of the seized gold bars is around Tk. 2.50 crore.The process is underway to file case against them, the OC added.
