Midland Bank Limited has organized a tree plantation programme on the occasion of National Mourning Day-2021.
Md Ahsan-uz-Zaman, managing director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MDB, inaugurated the programme at the bank's head office on August 29, a press release said.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Md Zahid Hossain and other senior officials were present at the programme.
Besides, Rajshahi City Corporation Chief Executive Officer Dr ABM Sharif Uddin inaugurated the Rajshahi tree planting programme by planting trees at the airport premises of Rajshahi metropolis at the initiative of Midland Bank Rajshahi branch.
Under the programme, 1560 trees were planted from Alif Lam Mim to Budhpara Road and Chandrima Thana junction. Midland Bank Rajshahi Branch carried out the tree planting programme with the slogan “Let's plant trees and participate in building Bangabandhu's dream country”.
Midland Bank Rajshahi Cluster Head and Branch Manager Samiul Karim was present during the inauguration of the tree planting programme.
