Three people were killed when a truck hit a van in Sirajganj early Wednesday.
The incident took place on Dhaka-Bagura highway at Panchlia under Salanga thana in Ullapara upazila of the district around 5:30am.
The deceased are Haider Ali, 60, son of late Fulchand of Panchlia in Salanga thana, van driver Khoda Box, 50, son of late Motahar Hossen of the same village and Shahadat Hossen, 55, of Paikosha village in Kamrakhand upazila.
Shahjahan Ali, officer-in-charge of Hatikumrul Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said, they recovered the bodies from the spot and handed over them to their families. Preparation to file a case is underway.
