Four children were killed and two others injured by a lightning strike during a football match in Dinajpur on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place at Nishchintopur adjacent to Uposohor 8 no. block of the district around 3pm.
The deceased are Apan, 12, Mim, 12, Hasan, 13 and Sazzad, 14. They were sent to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College and Hospital.
Masud Alam, Ward Master of the hospital, confirmed the deaths to Jago News.
