A massive fire that broke out on the third floor of six-storey building at Chairmanbari in the capital’s Banani has been under control.
The fire broke out at 9:10am and was brought under control at 1:05pm on Saturday.
The reason behind the fire could not be ascertained.
Ziaur Rahman, Duty Office of Fire Service Directorate, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said, on information fifteen units of the fire service rushed to the spot and took the fire under control.
