Six people, including women and children, were killed and five others injured in a deadly road accident in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore district on Sunday afternoon.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Bonpara Highway Police Station officer in charge Mozaffar Hossain said a pickup van carrying 11 passengers overturned on road and then it plunged into a ditch near Kachhikata bus stand around 1:45pm, leaving five dead on the spot and six hurt.
Among the injured, one died on the way to Gurudaspur Upazila Health Complex, he said.
