The government has allowed the export-oriented factories to reopen on Sunday amid the strict coronavirus lockdown.
The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Friday.
The decision came a day after the exporters urged the government to let them resume production.
Earlier, the government imposed a strict lockdown from July 23 to August 5 to curb the coronavirus transmission.
All public-private offices, market-shopping malls, public transports, and industries except the ones producing and processing food products, transporting and maintaining rawhide, and producing drugs to close during the restrictions.
