Forty-seven more people died of Coronavirus in Khulna Division in the last 24 hours.
Besides, 1,639 people tested positive for the virus during this time.
Divisional Health Directorate confirmed the deaths to Jago News on Thursday.
Of the deceased, 16 were from Khulna, 10 from Kushtia, one each from Bagerhat, Satkhira, Narail, four each from Jashore, Jhenaidah, Meherpur, three from Chuadanga and Magura.
According to the source, the first coronavirus case was reported in Chuadanga of Khulna Division. 78,040 people have been infected with the virus so far in the ten districts of the division. Of them, 1,772 people died and 49,962 had been recovered.
