Twenty-five people died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours. Seven of them died from the disease and eighteen died with its symptoms.
Of the deceased, twelve were from Rajshahi, three each from Chapainawabganj, Natore, Pabna, one each from Kushtia, Jashore and two from Naogaon, Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani, Director of RMCH, confirmed the deaths to Jago News on Wednesday morning.
In the last 24 hours, 72 patients were admitted to the hospital and 54 discharged. 232 Corona patients and 268 with its symptoms are receiving treatments at the hospital, he said.
