Khulna division today reported record 46 deaths from Coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Besides, 1,004 more people tested positive for the virus.
Rasheda Sultana, Director of Divisional Health Directorate, confirmed the information to Jago News.
According to the health directorate, of the deceased, 15 people were from Khulna, seven from Jashore, 15 from Kushtia, one each from Satkhira, Bagerhat and Meherpur and two each from Magura, Jhenaidah and Chuadanga.
A total of 60,564 people have been infected with the virus in ten districts of Khulna division so far since its beginning. Of them, 1,214 people have died.
