Seventeen people died of Coronavirus in Khulna in the last 24 hours.
Three of them were receiving treatment at Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital, two at Khulna General Hospital and three at Gazi Medical College Hospital.
Spokesperson of the three hospital confirmed the matter to Jago News on Sunday morning.
According to source, twelve people died at Corona dedicated hospital in the last 24 hours and 42 people were admitted to the hospital. 39 people were discharged from the hospital. A total of 160 people were receiving treatment at the hospital till Sunday morning.
Two people died at Corona unit of the general hospital. The deceased were identified as Atiar Rahman Mollick, 65, of Bagerhat and Oli Ullah, 67, of Satkhira. 12 people were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. Eight were discharged from the hospital. Apart from, 68 people are receiving treatment there till 9:30am on Sunday.
Three people died at Gazi medical in the last 24 hours. The deceased were identified as Shamsul Alam, 63, of Khulna, Abdus Samad, 75, of Satkhira and Jharna Begum, 46 of Narail. 88 people were receiving treatment at the hospital till at 8am on Sunday.
