The University of Chittagong authorities have suspended all examinations of the university for an indefinite period as the government announced a strict lockdown across the country from Monday.
Professor Benu Kumar De, pro-vice chancellor of the university, confirmed the matter to Jago News on Saturday evening.
The suspension starting from Sunday will remain effective until further notice, he said.
Earlier on June 15, the university authorities decided to hold all kinds of academic examinations in person keeping the dormitories shut.
