Bangladesh Cricket Board has appointed former South African cricketer and captain Ashwell Gavin Prince, and former Sri Lankan cricketer Rangana Herath as the Tigers' new batting, and spin bowling coaches respectively.
BCB made the announcement in a formal statement on Saturday afternoon.
As a batting coach, Ashwell Prince has a level-3 coaching certificate recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
He scored more than 4000 runs playing a total of 119 matches in three formats for South Africa.
Like Prince, Rangana Herath has also ICC recognized level-3 coaching certificate as a specialist spin bowling coach.
He took 433 wickets in 93 Test matches from 1999 to 2018, and 92 wickets in ODI and T20 games.
