The National Technical Advisory Committee on COVID-19 has recommended a 'complete nationwide shutdown' for two weeks in a bid to curb the sharp rise of infections.
In a press release sent to media on Thursday, the body said it recommended the 'complete countrywide shutdown' aiming to prevent the risks to the people's lives posed by the coronavirus infections that went out of control.
The advisory committee, however, meant by the complete shutdown that everything except emergency services will remain closed.
