Bangladesh Bank removed Agrani Bank Managing Director Abdul Hamid for violating rules in granting loans amounting to Tk 792 crore.Chairman of Agrani Bank Jayed Bakht confirmed the matter to the reporters.Bangladesh Bank governor Fazle Kabir took the decision following recommendation by a central bank committee in accordance with the Banking Companies Act.
