A Dhaka court fixed August 1 for submitting probe report in a case filed against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia relating to hurting religious sentiments and inciting communal hatred.Judge Abdullah Al Masud of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court fixed the date of report submission as the investigation officer could not submit the investigation report on Thursday.On October 21 in 2014, Jananetri Parisad President AB Siddique filed a lawsuit against Khaleda Zia with Dhaka CMM court for hurting religious sentiment under the sections no. 153ka and 295ka of the Code of Criminal Procedure. On the day, the CMM court heard the plaintiff and ordered to probe the incident.Khaleda exchanged greetings with the members of the country’s Hindu community on October 14 where she said, ‘Secularism is just their (Awami League) mask; in fact, it is an irreligious party undercover of secularism.’
