Seven people died of COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours on Monday.
Dr Saiful Ferdous, Deputy Director of the hospital, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said, all of them died at Corona unit of the hospital. Of them, three are from Chapainawabganj, one each from Rajshahi, Naogaon, Pabna and Natore.
He also said, 20 Coronavirus patients were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. Of them, 16 are from Rajshahi, three from Chapainawabganj and one from Naogaon.
However, 23 Corona patients were discharged from the hospital and 232 people are currently receiving treatment.
To be noted, 60 people died of Coronavirus and its symptoms in the last seven days so far.
