A young man has been found hanging in their house in Ashuganj upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
Deceased Ashraful Islam, 19, was the son of Abdur Rauf Mia, a resident of Borotolla village in the upazila. By profession, he was a battery-run auto-rickshaw driver.
Police and locals said Ashraful on Saturday evening told his family that he wanted to marry a girl but his father disagreed which angered him.
After that, family members knocked on his door repeatedly but no sound they heard from inside. Later, they peeped through the window and found him hanging.
Ashuganj Police Station officer in-charge Zabed Mahmud said the body was sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue.
