BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the Evercare Hospital in the capital after she felt breathing problem on Monday.
She was shifted to the CCU after 3 pm, a reliable source confirmed the matter.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night for some medical tests after she tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time on April 24.
To be noted, amid the coronavirus outbreak, the government freed Khaleda Zia from jail on conditions for six months on an executive order suspending her sentences on March 25 last year.
